This course provides a Dive RAID Specialty Instructor with the knowledge to conduct and certify a Certified Diver as an Night Limited Visibility Diver.

Dive RAID Night and Limited Visibility Specialty - No matter how often you dive a site during the day, diving it at night brings out a whole new dimension to what you see. Learn to prepare, plan and execute night dives safely and open up this fascinating side to the undersea world. Observe creatures that you would not normally see during the daylight hours, plus those that you think you know well often behave completely differently during the twilight hours.

Introduction

This Speciality is designed to extend your knowledge and skills in the use of navigational tools and techniques for Sport Diving. It develops the knowledge required to plan, prepare and analyse for your dive to reduce stress and confusion, allowing you to enhance your diving experience.

Prerequisite
- To be a minimum of 15 years old.
- Certified RAID Open Water 20 or equivalent.
- Complete the RAID registration procedures.

Duration
The course conducted over 1 weekend where you have to complete 2 dives in either limited visibility or at night demonstrating the techniques that we cover in the online manual and dive briefing.

You'll learn:
- The difference night and limited visibility makes to diving.
- Introduction to different tools and techniques used for night and limited visibility diving.
